
Maintenance Technician
The opportunity
The role of Maintenance Technician will be skilled to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs, installation/replacing and servicing building systems and equipment as well as working side-by-side with the Property Manager and Property Services Manager. This individual will be responsible for work orders assigned by the Property Services Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly with minimal direction while observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings, tenant spaces, and common areas in the best possible condition.

What you'll do
- Perform minor and major fixes if applied to skill set and determined by 615 Ventures.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
- Install appliances and equipment.
- Complete grounds upkeep by power washing sidewalks, collecting trash etc.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, responding to misc. work orders from tenants, etc.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. chillers/boilers, plumbing, HVAC).
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations or assigned projects.
- Report issues to the Property Manager.
- Knowledge of the inner workings of each property to ensure proper upkeep.
Who you are
- Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.
- Proven experience as tech or other similar position.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Experience using hand and electrical tools, painting, and drywall repair.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship is preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and MaintainX (or similar software).
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with property managers, building owners, and other team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
Hourly pay range
$25 - $35 USD
