Overview of Role

66degrees is seeking a Contractor to engage on a 20-week onsite (Santa Ana, CA- 4 days in a week) assignment for 40 hours per week with potential to extend. Interested candidates should have the following required skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough interviews and workshops with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements
    • Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement for our solutions
    • Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and testable functional and non-functional requirements
    • Document and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle
    • Document meeting notes
  • Solution Design and Documentation:
    • Collaborate with solution architects and engineers to design solutions that meet client requirements.
    • Create detailed documentation, including: business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, test cases, process flows, and data flow diagrams.
    • Assist in the development of proposals and statements of work (SOWs).
  • Project Support and Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between clients and the project team, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
    • Participate in project meetings, providing updates and addressing any issues.
    • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet client expectations.
    • Help create training materials, and assist in user training.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze data to identify trends and insights that can inform business decisions.
    • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track project progress and performance.
    • Assist in data migration planning and execution.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a consulting or technology environment.
  • Python (TensorFlow, Keras, SciKit-Learn, PyTorch), SQL, Shell Scripting experience.
  • Data Engineering experience in Data Cleansing, ETL/ELT Pipelines, Vector DBs, Relational DBs, NoSQL DBs, Warehouses
  • Generative AI experience in LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Tuning, RAG, LangChain
  • Google Cloud Experience in the following tools: Vertex AI, Document AI, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
  • Experience with process modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience with software development and SDLC methodologies (especially agile methodologies)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem solving abilities.
