Overview of Role

As a critical bridge between software development and quality assurance, you will champion a "shift-left" testing approach to ensure the reliability and excellence of web, mobile, and API platforms. This role requires architecting robust automation strategies that integrate seamlessly into modern CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Automation Design & Development: Translate requirements into comprehensive test plans and develop maintainable automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Full-Stack Testing: Design and execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration tests across web, mobile, and API layers.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and REST Assured.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to support continuous delivery.
• Quality Advocacy: Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, providing technical insights and ensuring end-to-end traceability of defects (JIRA, Zephyr).

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years in manual and automation testing across web, API, and mobile platforms.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on test scripting proficiency in Java or JavaScript.
• Tool Expertise: Proven experience with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, Cucumber, and REST API testing.
• Foundational Knowledge: Deep understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile practices.
• System Skills: Competency with version control (Git), build automation (Maven), and familiarity with backend testing and SQL.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related or equivalent work experience required.
