Overview of Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in both backend and frontend technologies to build scalable, high‑performing web applications. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience designing RESTful APIs, developing responsive user interfaces, and deploying cloud‑native solutions. You will work across the entire stack—from database design to UI/UX implementation—ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using modern frameworks and tools.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
- Develop responsive, pixel‑perfect user interfaces using React (or similar frameworks such as Angular or Svelte).
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma prototypes into functional UI components.
- Ensure application scalability, security, observability, and performance across devices and browsers.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code; perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Adopt and promote engineering best practices (testing, code quality, automation, and documentation).
Core Skills & Tech Stack
Backend:
Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask), API Design, Authentication/Authorization, SQL (Postgres, MySQL), ORM (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM)
Frontend:
JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React (preferred), HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind, SCSS, state management (Redux/Zustand)
UI/UX:
Figma, component‑driven development, responsive design principles, accessibility (WCAG)
Cloud & DevOps:
Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), logging/monitoring
Tools & Practices:
Git/GitHub, Agile/Scrum, Webpack/Vite, Testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of professional experience building and operating web applications.
- Proficiency with Python-based backend frameworks and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous data handling, and state management.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud deployments and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility, and core UI/UX principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance profiling and optimization across the stack.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and internationalization.
- Exposure to Node.js for server‑side scripting and build tooling.
- Experience with automated testing, test coverage, and quality gates.
