People are the heart and soul of 6sense. We serve with passion and purpose. We live by our Being 6sense values of Win as One Team, Stay Curious, Do The Right Thing, Own the Outcome, and Create Belonging.  Every 6sensor plays a part in defining the future of our industry-leading technology.  6sense is a place where difference-makers roll up their sleeves, take risks, act with integrity, and measure success by the value we create for our customers.  We want 6sense to be the best chapter of your career.

About the Role

At 6sense, we are building one of the fastest growing advertising businesses in B2B technology and looking for a strategic enterprise seller to help shape the next phase of growth.

This role partners with some of the world’s largest and most complex enterprise organizations to help them use programmatic advertising, predictive intelligence, AI powered insights, intent data, and audience activation to identify buyers in market, accelerate pipeline, and drive measurable revenue growth.

As a senior overlay seller and specialized leader, you will partner closely with SaaS Account Executives to define and execute strategic account plans, solve significant and unique customer challenges, and expand media revenue across high value enterprise accounts. You will operate with substantial independence, establish the methods for new or special assignments, and create alignment across internal and customer stakeholder groups.

This is an opportunity to influence how 6sense approaches complex advertising opportunities, contribute thought leadership to a growing business, and drive outcomes across one of the company’s expanding revenue streams.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the strategy and execution of significant, complex enterprise advertising sales motions across strategic accounts, from opportunity creation through close and expansion.
  • Serve as a specialized advertising leader for customers and internal partners, bringing thought leadership to high impact pursuits and helping shape repeatable approaches for complex opportunities.
  • Build formal networks with executive marketing buyers and key stakeholders across advertising, media, demand generation, account based marketing, procurement, finance, and other customer groups.
  • Evaluate tangible and intangible factors across business priorities, customer dynamics, audience strategy, data, competition, and commercial terms to determine the best path to results.
  • Create tailored value narratives that connect programmatic advertising, audience activation, predictive intelligence, intent data, and AI powered insights to pipeline, revenue, account engagement, and broader business outcomes.
  • Expand media revenue by identifying new buying centers, developing executive relationships, navigating matrixed organizations, and increasing share of wallet across strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Partner across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and other functions to coordinate account strategy, remove barriers, and align resources around shared customer outcomes.
  • Act independently to define methods and procedures for new or special assignments, while guiding or coordinating the activities of others as needed to advance complex pursuits.
  • Capture field insights, influence sales practices, and develop scalable approaches that strengthen the advertising business beyond an individual account portfolio.

Requirements

  • 12 or more years of relevant enterprise advertising or SaaS sales experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8 or more years with a master’s degree. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Broad expertise or unique knowledge in B2B programmatic advertising, including capabilities such as audience targeting, predictive intelligence, intent data, or AI powered marketing.
  • Proven success selling into large, complex enterprise organizations, preferably Fortune 500 companies.
  • Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding quota and closing complex six figure and seven figure deals.
  • Experience leading significant and unique sales opportunities where success requires evaluating intangible factors, exercising independent judgment, and defining the appropriate strategy and methods.
  • Proven ability to expand revenue across complex enterprise organizations through executive relationship development, new buying center identification, multiple stakeholder engagement, and cross functional alignment.
  • Ability to create alignment across formal stakeholder networks and influence senior internal and external decision makers without relying on direct authority.
  • Strong executive presence, consultative selling capability, commercial judgment, business acumen, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate advertising, audience, data, and AI capabilities into measurable pipeline, revenue, and customer business outcomes.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience engaging CMOs and senior leaders across Marketing, Advertising, Media, Demand Generation, and Account Based Marketing.
  • Experience operating as an overlay seller or subject matter leader in partnership with SaaS Account Executives across strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Experience shaping new sales motions, developing repeatable practices, or influencing how teams pursue complex enterprise advertising opportunities.
  • Experience coordinating the work of cross functional contributors on high impact pursuits or special assignments.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a specialized individual contributor with broad enterprise advertising expertise and the judgment to solve significant, unique, and strategically important customer challenges. This person is comfortable evaluating ambiguity and intangible factors, determining the right approach without a predefined playbook, and creating alignment across complex stakeholder networks.

They have successfully sold B2B programmatic advertising into large enterprise organizations and understand how advertising fits within a broader B2B go to market strategy. They combine executive credibility with hands on sales execution, connect investments to measurable business outcomes, and contribute thought leadership and scalable practices that improve results beyond their individual accounts.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
