Director, Product Management - Stores, Assortment, Space, & Geospatial (G4)  P1777

SUMMARY:

The Director, Product Management, Stores, Assortment, Space, & Geospatial will combine technology and design to solve real customer problems in way that meets the needs of the business. You will work with your key stakeholders and partners to build the right things for our customers that deliver value to our business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The right candidate will:
    • Ensure solutions are distinctly valuable to our customers & are viable for various aspects of our business
    • Be highly skilled in building and managing stakeholder relationships to influence and drive change
    • Have advanced knowledge in the development and use of product data to inform product decisions – both quantitative and qualitative
    • Possess a deep understanding of customer & user problems, how they think and operate and the platforms/technology they use
    • Ideally have a deep understanding of retail merchandising concepts, processes, and solutions
    • Be highly skilled in making priority decisions based on measurable value, given the usability, feasibility, and viability requirements
    • Be able to translate organizational objectives, strategies and solution needs to the team to facilitate results
    • Be a strong communicator, clearly disseminating the value of the of work being delivered
    • Manage work with a product mindset – focus on outcomes (over outputs), problems to solve, the goals of your product and key metrics of success; give teams the freedom and responsibility to think of a strategy they believe will result in the best product for our clients; facilitate teams in setting up a process that supports them in building these products

 Primary responsibilities:

    • Lead the development, championing, and evangelizing of a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the portfolio of Stores, Assortment, Space, & Geospatial sciences & capabilities, based on the needs of the business
    • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders & clients to drive advocacy for improved processes and adoption & integration of effective data sciences for decision-making
    • Clearly communicate the value & ROI of the work being delivered on the program
    • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of individuals to achieve objectives & business results, bringing a mindset of resilience & growth to the role & team
    • Actively participate in the recruiting process for the team & function, as needed, with a constant focus on building a high-performing team

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  •  Highly skilled in managing business priorities against design/user needs while delivering against product roadmaps
  • Highly skilled in managing cross-functional software development teams in an agile environment
  • Stakeholder management skills – highly skilled in building and managing VP and Director level stakeholder relationships to influence and drive change
  • Problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity – remains confident, positive and resourceful in the face of ambiguity and unexpected results; recovers quickly from setbacks
  • Exhibits qualities of and have proven to be a great teammate
  • Verbal and written communication skills, ability to translate between business and technical
  • Technical acumen – grasps the technical details to lead a product and/or program
  • Experience in retail merchandising, including assortment, store/space planning, etc. is helpful
  • 6-8+ years relevant experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

 

Pay Transparency and Benefits

  • The stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest.  Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for variable compensation.

Pay Range

$116,000 - $273,750 USD
