The Senior HR Operations Specialist, working under general supervision, will provide a moderately complex level of day-to-day support for the HR Operations function including responsibilities in Leaves, HR Operations, Benefits, and HRIS. These responsibilities will include processing data transactions, data auditing, administration of leaves of absence, and supporting Benefits activities as needed. The incumbent in this role will also own the new hire orientation and pre-day one onboarding process. The individual will use knowledge across HR Operations disciplines to respond to associate questions and problem-solve, providing timely, thorough responses and resolutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads key HR activities such as new hire orientation and pre-day one onboarding ensuring the employee completes all necessary administrative documents, including tax forms, insurance paperwork, and the I-9 employment eligibility verification
- Administers employee leaves of absence including FMLA, ADA, short- and long-term disability, and other statutory or company programs.
- Answers/resolves problems related to routine HR questions concerning leaves, payroll, benefits, Workday, onboarding, etc.
- Supports the benefits lifecycle including open enrollment, compliance, invoicing, financial tracking.
- Identifies ways for HR to continuously improve in the solutions it offers to employees and managers.
- Keeps up-to-date with the latest updates to Workday and continues to create enhancement to Workday. Leverages technology to improve ways of working throughout the business.
- Maintains accurate and up to date employee data in Workday.
- Supports the HR Operations team with administrative duties.
- Provides excellent customer service and builds solid working relationships with employees, managers, leaders and colleagues in other corporate functions (Finance, Business Analysis and Business Operations).
- Provides support to prioritized HR Operations projects and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of experience
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Workday experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks seamlessly and with excellent attention to detail and follow through
- Ability to identify solutions and solve problems
- Ability to take initiative and work independently

- The stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest. Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for variable compensation.

Pay Range
$75,000 - $119,000 USD
