Senior Program Manager, EPMO
About the role
Chime is seeking a Program Manager to join the Company Process Enablement team within Business Operations. This role is a unique opportunity to improve how Chime operates by streamlining processes, reducing friction, and enabling faster, more coordinated execution across the business and with our bank partners.
You will own a portfolio of high-impact, cross-functional projects that shape how Chime scales. This includes optimizing business processes, improving tooling and systems, and driving clarity across roles, approvals, and workflows. Examples of projects this person would oversee: improving how the business works with our bank partners; overseeing and improving governance for enterprise processes; working with functional teams to understand what is inhibiting their ability to deliver and designing, implementing and improving solutions to unblock.
This role requires strong executive presence, stakeholder management, structured thinking, and data fluency. You will leverage data, AI, and strategic insight to influence decisions, drive alignment, and deliver company-level impact.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $138,000.00 and up to $190,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you will:
- Lead high-impact programs
- Own and drive complex, cross-functional initiatives that improve operational efficiency and scalability
- Translate strategy into execution, ensuring alignment to company priorities and measurable outcomes
- Identify systemic inefficiencies and implement durable, scalable solutions
- Work cross-functionally to ensure key business processes are healthy
- Work with Compliance, Marketing, Legal, Product, Operations, Finance and more to improve critical enterprise processes (such as Concept and Collateral approvals)
- Initially this role will include providing direct support to the Marketing team for the approvals process (triaging incoming collateral and supporting marketing leadership in maintaining a healthy funnel)
- Drive data-informed decisions
- Analyze complex datasets (e.g., JIRA, GSheets, Looker) to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Ensure data accuracy and hygiene, improving underlying systems where needed
- Develop clear, data-backed insights and recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Define and operationalize KPIs to track performance and guide decisions
- Leverage AI to improve how we work
- Use AI to accelerate analysis, streamline workflows, and enhance outputs
- Identify opportunities to embed AI into processes and operating models to increase speed and quality
- Influence and align stakeholders
- Lead discussions with senior and executive stakeholders, clearly articulating trade-offs and recommendations
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and drive alignment across diverse teams
- Act as a trusted thought partner to leadership on priorities and decisions
- Own outcomes and execution
- Operate with a strong ownership mindset, accountable for end-to-end outcomes
- Prioritize effectively across competing demands, focusing on highest-impact work
- Proactively identify risks and drive resolution to maintain momentum
To thrive in this role, you have:
- 8+ years of experience in program management, business operations, strategy, or consulting
- Proven ability to lead large, complex cross-functional programs with measurable impact
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently derive insights from data and make recommendations
- Experience with tools like GSheets, Looker, and JIRA, with a focus on data quality and integrity
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence executive audiences
- A structured, strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ownership, with a bias toward execution and results
- Experience improving business processes, operating models, or internal systems
- Comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated environments
- Track record of scaling operations or driving process transformation in high-growth companies
- Experience building dashboards, KPI frameworks, or data models
- Familiarity with automation, workflow tooling, or system integrations
- Why this role is high-impact
- Operates at the center of how Chime works, improving systems and processes at scale
- Partners directly with executive leadership to shape decisions and priorities
- Uses data and AI as core tools to unlock speed, clarity, and impact
- Drives foundational, company-level improvements, not just incremental change
