
Temporary Theatrical Accounting Associate
A24 is looking for a Temporary Theatrical Accounting Associate (4 months) to manage the receivables processes between A24 and international partners and vendors. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who is highly organized and diligent with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. This role can be based out of our New York or West Hollywood office.
Responsibilities
- Invoice and collect film rental from international theatrical exhibitors
- Input and apply payments in our theatrical distribution software (Mica)
- Import and audit box office reports (BOR’s) using Mica
- Reconcile payments and receivables with weekly reporting
- Own quality assurance in Mica, ensuring all information is accurate
- Assist in any ad-hoc projections
Qualifications
- 0-2 year of experience with collections and/or theatrical distribution preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience) with coursework in Accounting or related field preferred
- Comfortable with large data sets and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is nice to have, but not required
- Strong communicator with the ability to maintain good relationships internally and externally
- Humble, diligent, resourceful

This role is a temporary, W-2 position, working at least 40 hours per week. Our target hourly rate for this position is between $21 and $23. Actual starting pay within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training.
