
Awards Lead
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Awards Lead to oversee the end-to-end execution of our awards campaigns. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of awards submissions, screenings, screeners, materials, and events, while serving as a key liaison with guilds, critics groups, and awards organizations. This role can be based out of either our New York or West Hollywood office.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong project management skills, experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and a deep understanding of the awards landscape. This is a dynamic role that requires juggling many moving parts with precision, discretion, and creativity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee awards submissions, including managing FYC lists and category approvals
- Coordinate awards screenings including official guild screenings/Q&As, qualifying screenings, AMPAS/Tastemaker screening events, pre-nom and post-nom screenings
- Manage screening invites and FYC e-blasts, including coordinating with designers and fulfillment houses, as well as guild approvals
- Manage DVD and digital awards screeners, including coordinating with the post team on production/delivery, creative team on assets/design, guilds on approvals, and fulfillment houses on distribution
- Coordinate FYC Guild and AMPAS websites, including managing assets, materials, screening schedules and RSVP links
- Coordinate tables, ticketing, seating, sponsorship and other logistics for awards ceremonies and events
- Serve as studio liaison with guilds, critics groups and other awards organizations
- Regularly update awards season calendars and timelines, as well as ensure that awards deadlines are met
- Coordinate staffing for awards screenings
- Hire and manage an awards team (consultants), as well as help manage outside agencies and consultants
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience in Film PR and/or Awards
- Reliable and proactive, with extreme attention to detail
- Have an awareness and deep understanding of awards rules and campaign regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Social, humble, diligent, resourceful and enthusiastic team player

Our target salary range for this role is between $145,000 to $165,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
