Marketing and Business Development
We are looking for a motivated self-starter in Marketing Business Development Intern with a strong background in marketing strategies, business development, or market research to help us drive AAVAA’s ground-breaking technology into several “wearables” markets and sectors. The position is available as early as February 2025.
AAVAA is a deep technology start-up in Montreal with the goal to give people control of their auditory environment, enhance the sounds they want to hear, and suppress distracting noise. We have developed a unique, patented wearable technology that promises to revolutionize human-assistive devices and human-machine interactivity by interpreting brain and bio-signals. Our technology is designed to be easily integrated into earphones, earbuds, eyeglasses, and other wearable form factors, and our business model is to license our technology to OEM’s and app developers in these sectors.

Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
- Interest in assistive technology or healthcare is preferred.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Creative thinker with a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including social media management and content creation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with market research, data analysis, or CRM tools is a plus.
- Prior experience or demonstrated interest in the assistive technology, healthcare, or accessibility field.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for assistive technology and accessibility solutions is highly valued.
