Community Outreach Specialist - Chicago, Illinois

Compensation: $62,000-$66,000 base salary, sign-on bonus, and benefits.

We are transforming the healthcare experience for low-income families. We are led by a founder who grew up on Medicaid (public insurance) and personally knows the desperation of not being able to afford medically necessary care.

The Role

We’re looking for passionate and empathetic hustlers to join us. You’ll be working to help bring care to real families. Your role is to share details of our mission with families and help our information reach as many people as possible.

In this role, you will:

• Lead outreach efforts. You’ll work with our team to spread our mission far and wide via partnerships with community and healthcare centers. 
• Building relationships with families. You’ll be in charge of meeting families where they are in the community and sharing information at events, resource fairs, meetups, etc. 

Get Abby Care’s name out there. You’ll be responsible for getting our information and materials all around the greater Chicago area!

The Requirements

• Must currently reside near chicago and can drive to the surrounding areas when necessary with a valid Driver’s License. 
• Excellent execution skills. You know how to handle complex and cross-functional initiatives, set goals, optimize workflows, and solve problems to get to your goal.
• Deep empathy, endless tenacity, charisma, and attention to the finest details.
