Now, we are seeking an Associate Director of Paid Search Media to join our team. You will work closely with the Director of Performance Media to ensure the highest quality SEM strategy and direction is established across all client assignments. This person is responsible for developing strategically integrated plans that deliver marketing objectives across the multi-channel ecosystem. What You'll Do 

  • Channel Leadership: Provide channel leadership across multiple client assignments and act as the channel lead on all client assignments.
  • Strategy Formulation: Formulate paid search strategy for client businesses, ensuring alignment with client objectives and strategies.
  • Client Integration: Assume lead role in integration of SEM efforts and demonstrate full understanding of client businesses.
  • Provide Strategic Recommendations: Present innovative, business-building, and breakthrough SEM recommendations.
  • Monitoring: Monitor SEM plan approvals and implementation to ensure timely activation.
  • Data Analysis: Use multiple data sources to perform campaign analysis and direct plan revisions.
  • External Relationships: Maintain relationships with external agencies, publishers, associations, and syndicated research resources.
  • Business Growth: Drive agency growth by securing and expanding additional social media initiatives with current clients and through new business.

Team Management and Mentorship

  • Hire, Coach, and Develop Team Members: Assign projects to balance workloads and challenge team members' skills, ensuring projects showcase the agency's capabilities.
  • Provide Regular Feedback: Offer both formal and informal feedback to media team members to help grow their creative sensibilities and progress in their craft.
  • Team Motivation: Foster team motivation and maintain a positive attitude that inspires others
  • Infuse Psychological Safety into Teams: Facilitate participation, inclusion, and diversity of perspectives on your team and throughout the agency 

What Makes You A Great Fit

  • Experience: 6-8 years of SEM planning, buying, and management, with a strong focus on branded/unbranded strategies and keyword list development.
  • Pharma Experience: Must have SEM experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Campaign Management: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience managing campaigns across Google and Microsoft Bing.
  • Optimization: Understanding of Landing Page Optimization and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
  • Analytics: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
  • Client Management: Significant client-facing and relationship management experience is required.
  • Additional Knowledge: Working knowledge of Paid Social or Programmatic advertising is a plus.
  • Prioritization Skills: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions, and work effectively both in teams and independently.
  • Team Player:  Above all, you will be at your best in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment and will consistently bring a positive attitude and a sense of humor to the team
