What You’ll Do
- Innovation & Testing: Identify opportunities for testing and innovation in media strategy, collaborating with buying counterparts to implement.
- Campaign Oversight: Assume oversight of campaign management teams, providing quality assurance, troubleshooting, and support.
- Presentations: Apply storytelling techniques to presentations, adapting fluidly to adjust strategies in real-time.
- Media Insights: Provide deep insights into media performance, proactively managing brand impact, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Process Optimization: Define and adjust processes for new tools and technologies as required.
- Research Utilization: Regularly leverage research from media tools to propose and defend innovative ideas.
- Full-Funnel Expertise: Demonstrate understanding of linear, digital, social, and emerging platforms and technologies.
- Strategic Partnerships: Initiate discussions with partners to influence product roadmaps and capabilities.
- Relationship Building: Establish relationships with IS leads, department leads, client leads, and vendor leads to enhance collaboration and client service.
- Data Expertise: Differentiate between 2nd and 3rd party data sets, applying them appropriately to media strategies.
Management, Mentorship, and Leadership
- Leadership Skills: Lead by example, maintaining composure and professionalism in challenging situations, serving as a role model for junior team members.
- Training & Development: Educate and mentor junior team members on media tools and strategies, fostering their growth and skills development.
- Hire, Coach, and Develop Team Members: Assign projects to balance workloads and challenge team members' skills, ensuring projects showcase the agency's capabilities.
- Provide Regular Feedback: Offer both formal and informal feedback to direct reports to help grow their creative sensibilities and progress in their craft.
- Perform Team Evaluations: Participate in performance reviews for any direct reports and provide coaching to create growth plans for team members as needed.
- Team Motivation: Foster team motivation and maintain a positive attitude that inspires others
- Infuse Psychological Safety into Teams: Facilitate participation, inclusion, and diversity of perspectives on your team and throughout the agency
What Makes You A Great Fit
- Conflict Resolution: Effectively manage conflict and diverse personalities, fostering a calm and collected demeanor.
- Stress Management: Support direct reports in managing stress levels, minimizing drama and promoting a positive work environment.
- Curiosity and Openness: Approach differing viewpoints with curiosity rather than defensiveness.
- Experience: 7-8+ years of experience in media planning/strategy, with a strong preference for both DTC and HCP expertise and leadership in the field.

Compensation Range: $115,000 - $130,000. The starting salary offer will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. The company reserves the right to adjust this pay range at any time.
