We are transforming the way Zé Delivery and TaDa developers work by creating an environment that fosters productivity, innovation, and satisfaction. Our Tech Foundations team is responsible for enabling Engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with business objectives. We are looking for a Developer Experience Specialist to help us with initiatives that improve the developer's day-to-day experience.

What you'll do:

As a Developer Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for:

1. Optimizing the Developer Journey:

  • Identifying and eliminating friction points in development, build, test, and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborating with Platform Engineering and SRE to ensure that platforms and tools meet developers' needs.

2. Developing Tools and Automations:

  • Creating and maintaining tools, templates, and automations that accelerate the development cycle.
  • Working together with Platform Engineering to integrate DX solutions into internal platforms.

3. Promoting a Culture of Autonomy and Quality:

  • Empowering developers with best engineering practices, clear documentation, and continuous technical support.
  • Collaborating with SRE to ensure that DX practices are aligned with reliability and resilience standards.

4. Collecting and Analyzing Feedback:

  • Implementing continuous feedback mechanisms to understand developers' needs and pain points.
  • Monitoring and reporting DX metrics, such as DX Score, onboarding time, and tool adoption rates.

5. Collaborating with Other Areas:

  • Working closely with Platform EngineeringSRE, Architecture, and Quality teams to ensure technical and strategic alignment.
  • Participating in guilds and technical forums to promote collaboration between teams and platforms.

What you'll need:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:

- Experience in software development.

- Experience focused on Developer Experience, development tools, or process automation.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps).

- Experience with pipeline automation, quality gates, and automated testing.

- Familiarity with DX metrics and productivity monitoring tools.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, Platform Engineering, and SRE.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Data-driven mindset and problem-solving abilities.

- Passion for improving developer experience and productivity.

More about you:

- Experience with generative AI for optimizing development workflows.

- Knowledge of low-code/no-code platforms.
