About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the Search product within the BEES app. Search is a critical capability for BEES, powering most product findability flows and directly impacting GMV across multiple markets.
This role sits within the BEES Core team, responsible for building scalable, reliable, and reusable capabilities that serve multiple BEES platforms (Customer, Force, and Link).

You will work closely with engineering, data, design, and multiple product teams to evolve our search algorithms, infrastructure, and user experience, ensuring high performance, reliability, and relevance at scale.

What you'll do:

  • Own the product strategy and execution for the Search domain, ensuring high availability, relevance, and performance across countries;
  • Act as a bridge between product and engineering, translating business needs into clear, well-defined epics, features, and technical requirements;
  • Lead backlog refinement, breaking down epics into actionable stories in collaboration with engineering teams;
  • Collaborate with multiple BEES product teams, as Search powers product lists with impacts across various value streams in the apps;
  • Closely monitor search performance and health metrics per country, proactively identifying and addressing issues;
  • Define and validate feature acceptance criteria, ensuring quality before production releases;
  • Leverage data to drive decisions, using existing dashboards and building new analyses when needed;
  • Drive the evolution of search capabilities, including relevance tuning, commercial indicators, and future AI and natural language search initiatives;
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, presenting updates and insights to senior leadership.

What you'll need:

  • University degree in a field related to the role;
  • Experience as a Product Manager working on technical, platform, or backend-heavy products, preferably in technology-driven companies;
  • Strong understanding of search systems, algorithms, or highly scalable backend services (hands-on experience is a plus, but not mandatory);
  • Ability to comfortably communicate with engineers, understanding both backend and frontend concepts and trade-offs;
  • Experience working with data to analyze product performance, identify issues, and support decision-making;
  • Experience working in cross-functional and highly collaborative environments;
  • Familiarity with Agile product development practices;
  • Advanced English skills (written and spoken), with the ability to present and communicate with global stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience with search, ranking, personalization, or recommendation systems;
