About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Developer with a strong technical foundation, a quality-first mindset, and an architecture- and scalability-oriented approach. This professional will work in a high-complexity environment involving distributed systems, service integrations, and a constant need for predictability, performance, and observability.
We expect someone who goes beyond task implementation, actively participating in refinements and architectural evolution.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and evolve backend services in Java using the Spring Framework.
  • Work on architectures based on REST APIs and Event-Driven systems.
  • Implement integrations with messaging and stream brokers (RabbitMQ).
  • Actively participate in technical refinements, proposing improvements and challenging approaches.
  • Ensure quality through testing practices (TDD, unit tests, integration tests).
  • Contribute to refactoring and structural improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs using root cause analysis.
  • Contribute to technical documentation (UML, ADRs).
  • Work with observability practices (monitoring, logs, and alerts).

Required Hard Skills:

  • Git
  • Java + Spring Framework
  • Software Architecture (REST, Event-Driven)
  • Design Patterns, SOLID, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture
  • DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Vaults)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure or similar)
  • Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or similar)
  • Monitoring and observability tools (New Relic, Datadog, Logstash, etc.)
  • Technical documentation (UML, ADRs)
  • Experience using AI Agents to improve development productivity

Expected Soft Skills:

  • Strong quality-oriented mindset.

  • Strong analytical skills for bug resolution.
  • Architectural vision.
  • Proactivity in suggesting refactorings and improvements.
