Position: Quality Technician

Location: COVINGTON, GA

 

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Analysis Technician to join our lab team. The role involves performing chemical analysis using ICP-MS and manual titration techniques in a cleanroom environment. This position may require night shift work and the use of semiconductor cleanroom PPE (e.g., SMOCK, gloves, safety glasses). Candidates with prior lab experience are highly preferred.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct precise chemical testing using ICP-MS and manual titration methods
• Follow laboratory protocols and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards
• Record and report test results with attention to accuracy and traceability
• Perform calibration and routine maintenance of lab equipment
• Wear cleanroom PPE (SMOCK, gloves, etc.) and comply with semiconductor cleanroom protocols
• Support lab audits and documentation requirements
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in quality and process support

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of a college-level program in chemistry, chemical technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree not required but preferred)
• Willingness to work night shifts if needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to wear and work in full cleanroom PPE for extended periods

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory, especially in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with ICP-MS operation and manual titration techniques
• Understanding of cleanroom protocols and safety regulations

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Work is performed in a controlled cleanroom environment
• Must wear appropriate cleanroom PPE (SMOCK, gloves, goggles, etc.) at all times while on the lab floor

 

Rate:

• $22 - $28 an hour
