Pay Rate: $21.50 - $25.00

Location: Irwindale, CA

  • Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM

Job Overview

Absolute International Security is seeking a highly organized and personable Recruiter to provide day-to-day support to the Recruiting department. This role is responsible for full-cycle, high-volume hiring in a fast-paced environment; including managing the recruiting ATS, sourcing applicants through job fairs and social media, screening and interviewing candidates, and keeping the recruiting pipeline flowing smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining an excellent candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting Duties

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple high-volume openings.
  • Partner with Operations to understand hiring needs and timelines.
  • Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Source candidates through job boards, recruiting platforms, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews at scale.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and hiring volume.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and best hiring practices.

Coordination Duties

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews across multiple calendars, interview panels, and hiring managers, including phone screens, virtual interviews, and on-site visits.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring a timely, professional, and positive experience.
  • Manage and maintain accurate candidate records and requisition data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role priorities and align on scheduling logistics.
  • Coordinate candidate travel, expense reimbursements, and on-site interview logsitics, as needed.
  • Draft and send offer letters, background check requests, and other candidate-facing correspondence.
  • Track interview and hiring metrics, flagging bottlenecks or delays to the recruiting team.
  • Support employer branding efforts, including career fairs, campus recruiting events, and candidate outreach.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve scheduling processes and the overall candidate experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • At least one of the following:
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
    • PHR or SPHR
    • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) or Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC)
    • Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC)
    • LinkedIn Certified Professional - Recruiter (or similar)

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience in high-volume hiring required.
  • Previous experience in security industry or related industry preferred.
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS and Paycom HRIS is a plus.

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and additional screening requirements
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong multi-tasking, task management, and attention to detail
  • Possesses a professional and customer service oriented demeanor with emphasis on team collaboration and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environemnts and handle emergencies calmly under pressure.
  • Acts with confidentiality and discretion
  • Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation
  • Must be dependable, committed to ethical conduct, and acts with integrity
