Senior Art Producer
Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Senior Art Producer to join our team. In this role, you will lead art-focused pods and help guide the production of high-quality assets across various disciplines, including concept, character, animation, environment, and VFX. You will work closely with artists, designers, and other producers to develop and track schedules, anticipate roadblocks, and ensure the art team has the resources and feedback needed to deliver world-class visuals on time and on budget.
We are looking for individuals who excel in organization, are detail oriented, have great communication skills, and have a strong understanding of dependency-driven production methodologies and 3D art creation pipelines.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the planning, scheduling, tracking and integration of art production across multiple pods and pipelines, including intaking of external and outsourced assets.
- Collaborate with art leads and discipline directors to define priorities, establish realistic deadlines, and identify dependencies.
- Facilitate regular meetings to review progress, identify issues early, and propose solutions.
- Gather and provide clear, actionable feedback to the art team to help maintain visual quality and project consistency.
- Act as a bridge between art and other disciplines (design, engineering, audio) to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Maintain documentation and reporting tools to track asset status, milestone progress, and risk assessment.
- Help foster a collaborative, creative, and positive working environment.
Core Qualifications
- Prior experience as a producer, associate producer, or project manager on a shipped video game or comparable creative project.
- Strong understanding of art pipelines and production workflows in game development.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills with both creative and technical team members.
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate production risks.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, ShotGrid, or similar).
Plus If...
- Experience working on AAA console or PC games.
- Background or formal training in art, animation, or a related creative discipline.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine or similar game engines.
- Passion for games and an eye for visual quality.

- Office is located near downtown Santa Monica – near metro and freeways.
The base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $155,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a competitive package of benefits including vacation time, sick time, company holidays, parental leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) matching to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
