Human Resources Coordinator

Position Summary:
The HR Coordinator provides essential support to Accanto Health employees, leaders, and the HR team by delivering responsive service, clear communication, and accurate coordination of HR processes. This role ensures compliance with HR policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements while fostering a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.

Compensation Disclosure
- Human Resources Coordinator: Starting hourly range between $25.00-29.00
Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position
How Human Resources Coordinator Empower Recovery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses.
- Support employees with questions related to timecards, payroll, benefits, role changes, and general HR processes.
- Act as a liaison between employees and HR team members, ensuring issues are directed and resolved appropriately.
Onboarding, Offboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Coordinate all aspects of the new hire onboarding process, including pre-employment checks, new hire paperwork and UKG profile setup.
- Guide employees through understanding company materials, resources, and benefits during their initial experience.
- Ensure employee files are created, maintained, and fully compliant with state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
- Manage the offboarding process, ensuring timely communication, collection of company property, and accurate updates to HR systems.
- Partner with leaders to facilitate smooth role transitions and internal employee changes.
HRIS, Data, & Reporting
- Accurately enter, maintain, and audit employee data in the HRIS system, including job titles, FTE changes, department transfers, and terminations.
- Maintain data integrity to support payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance reporting.
- Create, run, and analyze reports from the HRIS to provide insights for leaders and HR partners.
- Maintain knowledge of HRIS functionality, troubleshooting, and analytics.
Compliance & Certification Tracking
- Monitor and follow up with employees to ensure timely renewals of certifications (e.g., Basic Life Support, First Aid, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, ServSafe).
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation, verifying employee file accuracy, and ensuring compliance with HR and accreditation standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized recordkeeping systems, both electronic and physical, in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
HR Team & Process Support
- Support HR projects and initiatives, including employee engagement programs, process improvements, and policy rollouts.
- Provide administrative assistance for HR-led meetings, trainings, and company-wide initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees, leaders, and external vendors to support HR services.
Confidentiality & Professionalism
- Maintain the confidentiality of employee and company information, including personnel records, payroll data, trade secrets, and other proprietary information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1 - 2+ years’ experience in HR required.
- 1+ years’ experience with UKG Pro preferred.
- Experience with high volume onboarding preferred.
- 1-2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook – with the ability to learn and adapt to internal software programs.
