Business Analyst

Position Overview
The Business Analyst (BA) supports the successful delivery of IT and technology-enabled business initiatives by serving as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Reporting to the Director, IT PMO, this role is responsible for eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements, ensuring solutions align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and user needs, and helping develop test cases for UAT
The Business Analyst partners closely with Project Managers, IT teams, and functional leaders across clinical, operational, and corporate areas to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that enable predictable delivery and adoption in a regulated healthcare environment.

Salary Range:
$85,000- $105,000 commensurate with experience
Location
Remote- Must be US based, and able to work with no restrictions in the US in a remote home office.
How Business Analysts Empower Recovery
Requirements Elicitation & Documentation
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Create and maintain artifacts such as BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
- Validate requirements with stakeholders and maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
Process Analysis & Improvement
- Analyze current-state workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Define future-state processes aligned with system capabilities and regulatory needs.
- Document impacts, dependencies, and transition considerations.
Project & PMO Support
- Partner with Project Managers to support planning, scope definition, and delivery.
- Support intake, estimation, and prioritization activities.
- Assist with testing, UAT coordination, and validation of outcomes.
- Ensure alignment with PMO standards and governance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
- Communicate requirements and impacts clearly.
Change Management & Adoption Support
- Support change management by documenting workflow and role impacts.
- Partner with business owners on training, communication, and readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT or enterprise initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting clinical systems, EHR platforms, or healthcare technology implementations.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience working within a PMO or structured governance environment.
- CBAP, CCBA, or similar Business Analyst certification.
