About the Team
ACCEL Schools is hiring a highly qualified GSRP Teacher at Inkster Preparatory Academy in Inkster, Michigan dedicated to providing a superior education for all students. We are seeking teachers who are passionate and dedicated to bringing the curriculum to life for each student. We want our teachers to be excited to create a positive classroom environment that prioritizes student learning and social-emotional development.

About the Opportunity:
Responsibilities of the Teacher include to-
- Maintain daily classroom duties and requirements
- Responsible for daily attendance of children
- Teach children using the High Scope Curriculum
- Maintaining daily teacher to children ratio
- Keep track of lunch and snack count and corresponding paperwork
- Create, establish, and follow a consistent daily routine
- Create lesson plans that are well thought out and in alignment with the program with input from teaching partner
- Practice health & safety standards
- Observe the interactions and growth of children, documenting progression with notes that are put into COR
- Maintain up to date CPR and First Aid training.
- Maintain professional development hours yearly.
- Reports to program director.
- Coach and develop associate teacher
About You:
- Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or child development with a specialization in preschool teaching
- Must have formal training in the High Scope Curriculum
- Must be computer literate
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and groups and maintain an effective working environment
