DevOps Engineer
Job Description:
AFS is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support an exciting national security mission.
The Work:
- Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security
- Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats
- Design, build and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA, and development environments throughout the development lifecycle
- Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes
- Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring
- Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions
Here's what you need:
- 4-7 years of related experience in the following:
- Deployment/configuration management tools like Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, or Ansible
- Control tools like GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, or CVS
- Network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations, and security protocols
- Programming and scripting with languages like Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C++
- Scripting for container and orchestration experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher
- Linux and/or Windows OS
- CompTIA Sec + certification
Bonus points if you have:
- A Bachelors Degree in a technical field
- Understanding of AWS and other services
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$108,400 - $203,400 USD
