The Work:
The senior SAP Archiving SME is responsible for configuring SAP classical and ILM archiving objects across various modules. Monitor archiving jobs and resolve issues with job execution. Identify test data for unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance, working with client’s functional consultants for validation of test results.
Responsibilities:
- Creating implementation and testing documentation
- Collaborating with members of functional and infrastructure teams to identify and refine requirements and any data related optimization opportunities
- Administration of the OpenText Archive Server and associated modules to include installation of new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems
- Monitoring systems to ensure OpenText solution is operating as expected; making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance
- Facilitating work with application teams and providing deployment support.
- Experience with budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
- Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
Here is what you need:
- 5+ years of SAP Archiving experience
- Experience leading data archiving projects, working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders
- Team lead experience
Bonus if you have:
- SAP S/4 Hana certification
- SAP ILM certification
- Knowledge of SAP data archiving, ILM, ADK (Archive Development Kit) and S/4 Hana migration methodologies
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based archiving solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Preferably experience migrating from SAP ECC data archiving solution to S/4HANA data archiving solution
- Experience with third-party archiving tools like OpenText, PBS or DataVard)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex data structures

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
