Accenture Federal Services is looking for an entry-level Software Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
- Resolves software problem reports
- Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
- Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development
- Requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
What you’ll need:
- Experience (schooling or internship with a focus) in Software Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other technical discipline
- Experience with software development in an Agile environment

- Professional technical certifications
Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
