The Work:
The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for configuring ServiceNow components and developing customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This resource will analyze requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, work in a cross-functional agile delivery team, support testing, deployment, and documentation activities, as well as troubleshoot/resolve errors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a technical lead for teams and projects (e.g., performing code reviews and giving direct feedback, owning branch strategy and pull requests, defining standards/processes, instilling coding best practices and security, driving DevSecOps practices, authoring custom frameworks, coaching other developers and team members, providing performance reviews, working closely with other project leadership, etc.)
- Work on a cross-functional agile delivery team to analyze and deliver user stories, features, and enhancements
- Develop customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform
- Design, cod, and implement ServiceNow applications
- Write unit tests and performing due diligence to meet acceptance criteria
- Create timelines and development goals
- Test the stability and functionality of the application
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs
- Write documents and provide technical training
- Maintain the security and integrity of the application software
Here's what you need:
- 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer using object-oriented programing languages (e.g. Java, C#, C++)
- Experience in low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.
- Experience in development using web technologies (e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, etc.)
- Experience in JSON, XML, SOAP, REST and working knowledge of application programming interfaces (APIs) to support low-code/no-code platforms
- Experience in working on agile delivery teams (e.g. with POs, testers, architects) as well as performing testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and authoring technical artifacts / documents / deliverables
Bonus Points if you have:
- 1+ years of experience directly with Java
- Experience in development on RDBMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL, MySQL, MariaDB)
- Experience data modeling to include creating and modifying standard and custom objects, writing Stored Procedures, optimizing queries and views, and performing ETL
- Experience using Git with branching / merging, code reviews, and pull requests
- Experience deploying ServiceNow applications
- ServiceNow System Admin Certification
- Direct ServiceNow configuration experience

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$93,400 - $203,400 USD
