Job Description:
As a Microsoft Purview Data Practitioner focusing on Department of Defense (DoD) Records, you will be entrusted with a pivotal role within the Task Management Tool (TMT) Team. Your primary responsibility will be to establish, configure, and maintain Microsoft Purview to manage DoD Records effectively. This task demands a deep understanding of electronic records management in compliance with NARA and DoD policies. You will be expected to provide expert advice on Microsoft Purview's capabilities to key customers, fostering strong relationships with records management professionals such as Records Officers, Records Custodians, and CIO Office Leaders. Your role will be critical in understanding and influencing how records created within the Task Management Tool align with the client's records policies, including aspects like File Plans, Disposition, Retention, Permissions, and Ownership.
Responsibilities Include:
- Utilize expertise in the Federal Records Act, National Archives and Records Administration policies, and DoD Records Management guidance
- Employ exceptional communication skills to address complex issues and reconcile varying approaches to records management
- Work across multiple functional client engagements while leading the TMT records management initiative
- Analyze client processes and guide them to incorporate process improvements into the tool
- Mentor Analyst level team members and provide oversight of their work
- Support broader Enterprise TMT efforts, including standardization and responding to ad-hoc requests
- Lead the TMT records management initiative
Here’s What You Need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with NARA and DoD electronic records management policies
- Minimum 2 years of experience configuring and deploying Microsoft Purview
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Federal Records Act, National Records and Records Administration policies, and DoD Records Management guidance
- Experience mentoring team members and providing oversight
- Knowledge of DoD-wide impact initiatives

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia is:
