You Are:
The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the client and technical teams. They are responsible for understanding business needs, analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and recommending data-driven solutions.
The work:
- Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology
- Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution
- Research, gather and synthesize
- Build relationship with Product Owners and other stakeholders to understand business process and coach them to adapt Agile principles
- Work with teams to refine backlog and help with acceptance criteria for stories
- Help Product Owners to keep prioritized backlog up-to-date and guide them with estimates in collaboration with team leads
- Facilitate Sprint demos to all stakeholders
- Support coaching the Scrum team
Here's what you need:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment
- Familiarity with Agile concepts
- Ability to translate business needs from product owners to Feature Acceptance Criteria
- Ability to create visualizations and business flows diagrams
- Advanced in Microsoft Office to include MS PowerPoint
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Draw.IO
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Eligibility Requirements:
- US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
- Interim Secret Clearance required
- Must be local to Arlington, VA and willing to work onsite one day per week
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
