Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Consultant to complete tasks to implement cloud-based solutions. You will leverage your expertise in distributed applications, software development methodologies, and cloud deployment to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client requirements.
The work:
- Execute technical tasks as directed by the delivery team, including the design, implementation, and optimization of distributed applications.
- Deploy applications in cloud environments using best practices, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CDK and Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve deployment efficiency.
- Write and maintain Python code for various cloud-related tasks, including automation scripts, application logic, and integrations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical specifications to support the development and deployment processes.
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications using AWS services
- Containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience obtaining ATO for cloud-based workloads
- Familiarity with industry frameworks/standards and customer-specific security practices
- JavaScript/Typescript experience
- API Integration
- CNE based networking
- Automating deployment of cloud-based architectures using DevOps practices, including automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
Here’s what you need:
- 2+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications
- 2+ years of software development tools and methodologies
- 2+ years of experience with documentation and written communication
- Within six months: (1) AWS certification - Solutions Architect - Associate
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia is:
