The Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, verifying, sustaining and fully documenting developed software.
Duties:
- Develops complex software applications involving graphical front-end interfaces, visualization toolsets, SQL Database interfaces, multiuser GUI interfaces, and rule base assessments
- Works with application Product Owner to decompose Use Case entities into implemental software requirements
- Performs software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software reviews, software risk analysis, and software reliability analysis
- Performs analysis on new software developments and revisions to existing systems to enhance system efficiencies
- Responsible for software testing and user/system requirements verification/validation processes and procedures
- Troubleshoots production problems related to deployment of software applications
- Evaluates implemented requirements in software to determine if these requirements were met in deliverable software
- Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application integration and testing tools
- Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports. Works with project leads, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements
- Understands MDA test processes related to data management, scheduling, planning and commitments across all types of tests

- software engineering
- database management
- A/B Testing
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active Secret clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
