Position Overview: The Developer designs, develops, and configures software systems to meet market and/or client requirements. This role involves the entire lifecycle of software development including analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system. Additionally, the Developer may focus on specific phases of the lifecycle as needed. They apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support a client, project, or entity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the customized PeopleSoft Financials solution (9.2) upgrade.
- Manage and work on the implementation of retrofits and updating inputs.
- Handle and support a number of customized modules and supplemental applications associated with PeopleSoft.
- Collaborate with the team to understand client’s business needs and objectives.
Work Environment:
- This role may involve working closely with clients and requires a keen understanding of business processes and objectives.
- The Developer should be able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft code.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Proficiency in various coding languages.
- Ability to gain an understanding of the client’s business.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Prior consulting experience.
- Security clearance.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
