LMS Application Architect

A DevOps Engineer, who enjoys using new technologies to help our clients increase the pace and efficiency of solution delivery. You will design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient SaaS solutions to align with enterprise architecture. Also, apply SaaS principles such as multi-tenancy and modularity, define customization limits, and guide platform use to ensure performance and maintainability.
The work:
- Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all upgrades and enhancements to these systems, with a focus on transitioning the runtime environment from EC2 to a containerized platform, specifically ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift on AWS).
- You will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive upgrade plan while ensuring the platforms remain stable, secure, and scalable.
- Additionally, you will manage the entire infrastructure supporting these platforms, leveraging an established infrastructure-as-code approach to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Refining and expanding automation capabilities to streamline the management of the LMS platforms
Here's what you need:
- 2 years' experience in LMS
- Minimum 1 year of Moodle experience
- To excel in this role, you should have2 years' experience working with AWS-hosted applications and a strong understanding of networking principles.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as OpenShift, and infrastructure automation frameworks will be highly beneficial.
- You will need to demonstrate expertise in managing cloud-based environments and a proactive approach to implementing modern solutions.
- The ability to adapt and enhance automation tools to meet evolving platform needs will be critical
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
- Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needs
- Experience in software development and agile methodologies in a collaborative environment using Git or Subversion
- Experience working with and troubleshooting production workloads, including using application and system monitoring tools
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
