Job overview:
As a ServiceNow Portal Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Your primary focus will be on delivering a high-quality technical solution in the ServiceNow Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS) application with the implementation of NowAssist and Virtual Agent components geared to support a Help Desk servicing internal and external agency customers. Leveraging your expertise in ServiceNow, you will create a seamless, user-friendly, portal experience supporting workflows and automated processes to enhance operational efficiency for our client. This role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure technical deliverables meet organizational goals and adhere to industry and ServiceNow best practices. A strong background in ServiceNow development and implementation, coupled with proactive problem-solving skills, is essential. Adaptability to changing project requirements and delivering results in a fast-paced environment will make you a valuable team asset.
Here's what you need:
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow's architecture and capabilities specifically regarding service portals, widgets, and pages
- 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting the ServiceNow platform
- Implementation and support experience in ServiceNow Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS) or Customer Service Management (CSM)
- Familiarity with implementation of NowAssist and Virtual Agent and how these capabilities typically are used with service portals
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or AngularJS
- Integration knowledge connecting service portals to external systems and data sources using REST APIs
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Bonus points if you have:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
