Operations Lead
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) deployment initiatives across federal healthcare systems. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in multi-site deployment planning, stakeholder engagement, and healthcare informatics. You will drive enterprise-level transformation projects, ensuring successful implementation of EHR systems such as VA EHRM-IO, Oracle Health, and MHS GENESIS.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise deployment efforts for federal EHR programs, including pre-deployment planning, workflow readiness, infrastructure alignment, and go-live support across multiple hospitals and clinics.
- Engage senior stakeholders and brief executive leadership to align deployment strategies with organizational goals and national transformation initiatives.
- Develop and implement standardized methodologies, SOPs, readiness artifacts, and playbooks for consistent execution across multiple sites and deployment waves.
- Mentor and manage pre-deployment teams, ensuring organizational readiness and adherence to enterprise standards.
- Conduct workflow analysis and process improvement using Lean methodologies to optimize clinical operations.
- Oversee training development and delivery for clinical systems, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and NCQA standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (Project Management certification preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare IT, EHR deployment, or clinical systems training within federal or large-scale healthcare environments.
- Proven track record in program management, stakeholder engagement, and multi-site deployment strategy.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare informatics, workflow optimization, and change management.
- Familiarity with federal EHR systems (VA EHRM-IO, Oracle Health, MHS GENESIS) highly desirable.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
