Cloud Services Engineer - AI Specialization
Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced Cloud Services Engineer to implement and manage cloud services supporting modern, data-driven environments. This role focuses on integrating and optimizing cloud capabilities, including AI/ML services, to deliver scalable and mission-aligned solutions.
What you’ll own:
- Implement and manage cloud services with a focus on integrating AI/ML capabilities into scalable, mission-ready environments
- Design and integrate cloud services into secure, high-performing solutions
- Own the integration of AI/ML capabilities within cloud environments, ensuring they are reliable, scalable, and production-ready
- Optimize AI/ML services for performance, cost, and operational efficiency
- Automate service deployment and configuration using scripting and cloud-native tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve service-level issues across cloud and AI/ML components
What you’ll build and deliver:
- Cloud-based solutions with AI/ML capabilities fully integrated and operationalized
- Scalable, reliable AI/ML services aligned to mission and user needs
- Optimized service configurations balancing performance, cost, and security
- Automated deployments and repeatable configurations for cloud and AI/ML workloads
Here's what you need:
- 2 years of experience implementing and managing cloud services across multiple categories
- 2 years of experience with service automation and scripting (e..g.: Python, PowerShell, CLI)
- 1 year of experience with cloud-based AI/ML services across any major cloud provider
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or 4+ years of relevant job or military experience in lieu of degree
- DoD 8140 compliance (e.g. Security+, CISSP, CASP, etc)
- Ability to work on-site at Eglin Air Force Base or willingness to relocate
Bonus points if you have:
- Cloud certifications with service specializations (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience deploying or supporting AI/ML models in production environments
- Experience with MLOps or lifecycle management of AI/ML workloads
- Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of AI/ML systems
- Knowledge of data governance and management services
- Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with National Security systems and Air-Gapped Environments
Security Clearance:
- Active Top-Secret Clearance, preferred with SCI eligibility
- The position may require a polygraph examination
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
