ServiceNow Technical Architect
The work:
We are seeking a highly-skilled ServiceNow Technical Architect to provide technical direction and leadership for our federal clients. In this role, you will:
- Define architecture and design options/solutions, ensuring technical soundness and optimal design.
- Drive architectural “-ilities” (scalability, reliability, security, etc.) and maintain alignment with mission goals.
- Lead ServiceNow teams in designing and developing both out-of-the-box and custom solutions.
- Oversee development efforts, enforce best practices, and champion code quality, security, and technical debt management.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and developers to ensure cohesive strategies and effective execution across all phases of development, testing, and deployment.
- Partner with leadership and clients to define challenges, risks, dependencies, and strategic outcomes.
- Own technical architecture and design deliverables, including roadmaps, diagrams, and technical sessions.
- Support product backlog refinement, planning, and prioritization activities.
- Assist with escalated issues related to customized applications, security settings, workflows, and integrations.
- Facilitate solution design sessions, code reviews, and advocate ServiceNow best practices.
- Provide accurate work effort estimates for new projects and enhancements.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle using iterative methodologies.
Here's what you need:
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect and/or ServiceNow Certified Master Architect
- Ability to obtain ITIL Certification within 30 days of onboarding
- Ability to obtain a Certified Scrum Master Certification within 30 days of onboarding
- 7+ years in a hands-on technical leadership/architect role, with at least 3+ years focused on ServiceNow.
- Prior experience as a developer using JavaScript in ServiceNow
- General knowledge of CSDM in ServiceNow
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience supporting federal clients and navigating compliance/security requirements.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycle.
- Expertise in solution estimation and proposal development.
- Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow integrations and custom application development.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing technical debt.
- Experience with EA and SecOps implementation in ServiceNow.
- Experience working with CMDB.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $135,200 - $278,500 USD
