- Manage the operation and continuous tuning of cybersecurity tools supporting endpoint, network, email, data, and web protection.
- Monitor resource utilization and system performance, ensuring tools remain operational, efficient, and securely configured.
- Support deployment of new cybersecurity solutions and upgrade existing toolsets.
- Maintain secure configurations, backups, and documentation for all security tools.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity security plans, diagrams, and related artifacts.
- Integrate SIEM data, ensuring logs and telemetry flow properly and support threat detection and incident response.
- Support vulnerability scanning capabilities and defensive cyberspace operations infrastructure.
- Maintain and update network architecture diagrams and configuration baselines.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and incident response teams to ensure tool effectiveness and alignment with mission needs.
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or 4 years additional equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience proposing, developing, installing, managing, maintaining, integrating, and configuring cybersecurity tools across enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in threat detection and prevention tools, traffic segmentation controls, data rights management technologies, SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanning tools, and defensive cyberspace operations infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity toolsets across environments such as CorpsNet, SIPRNet, cloud platforms, DMZs, and network boundaries.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain secure configurations, monitor performance, and contribute to new tool deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CAP, or similar cybersecurity credentials.
- Familiarity with SIEM integration, automation, and orchestration technologies.
