Network Engineer
AFS is seeking a Network Engineer to play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based infrastructure for secure and efficient data transfer and communication.
What you’ll do:
- Configure, integrate and manage the life cycle of telecommunication network elements and associated configuration across Fulfillment and Assurance
- Manage back-office system data records
- Support customer activations and configuration adjustments
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the secure and efficient operation of cloud-based and on-premise networks at multiple classification levels
- Design, implement, and support network infrastructure for secure and efficient data transfer and communication
- Develop, maintain, and document network system and service configurations for cloud-based networks
- Document and troubleshoot network and system issues in cloud environments
- Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation
- Test and evaluate network systems and services to reduce problems and make improvements in cloud environments
- Ensure that the network infrastructure is optimized and meets organization’s requirements
What you’ll need:
- 5 years of experience with Cisco routing and switching, design, and configuration
- 5 years of experience deploying and managing encryption devices
- 3 years of Cloud experience (strong preference for AWS)
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Sec+, CISSP, CASP, CCNA Security etc.) or DoD 8140 equivalent
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with network management and monitoring toolsets such as NetScout, Wireshark, ExtraHop, SolarWinds, etc.
- Experience with various cloud technologies, such as virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies
- BS in Cybersecurity, or IT Mgmt., or related STEM degree
- AWS Certified Security, or CCSP, or CGRC, CISM, or CISSP
- Experience working in Agile environments
Clearance:
Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
