ServiceNow Developer
The work:
This position requires hands‑on technical expertise across multiple stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including architecture, development, integration, problem‑solving, and system optimization. You will apply advanced principles in engineering, IT service management, and automation while delivering high‑quality solutions aligned to ITIL and CSDM best practices. You will also provide functional systems analysis, design recommendations, and technical guidance to support moderately complex technical challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and portals
- Analyzing and evaluating system recommendations for improvements, optimization, and maintenance
- Applying advanced mathematical and engineering methods to solve complex technical problems through automation
- Leading efforts in system architecture, risk management, and software development methodologies
- Providing documentation, integration support, and implementation guidance across multiple technical domains
- Ensuring compliance with ITIL and CSDM best practices to optimize the ServiceNow instance
- Acting as a subject matter expert for both new and legacy technologies across information systems, networking, telecommunications, and automation
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience
- Deep technical understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, including platform architecture, development, configuration, and optimization
- Strong experience in information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, and automation
- Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, VR, SIR, and IRM modules and concepts
- Expertise in software lifecycle management, risk management, and system integration

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
