Data Engineering (Onsite - San Antonio, TX)
The work:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of automated, real-time, self-healing data pipelines across platforms and manage metadata repositories.
- Implement automated error detection and alerting systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Support client and delivery teams in deploying AI and other automation approaches.
- Manage monitoring and sustainment of data pipelines, resolving data discrepancies in near real time.
- Supervise a small team (2–3 members), both local and remote.
- Work closely with the client to automate enterprise data pipelines and ensure data quality.
- Perform client-facing duties with direct responsibility for guiding technical discussions and delivery.
Here is what you need:
- US Citizenship required (no dual citizens)
- DoD Interim Secret clearance
- Experience with AWS, Palantir Foundry, and Databricks data engineering capabilities, particularly around system interfaces.
- Hands-on experience building and sustaining automated data pipelines and monitoring systems.
- Experience leading or supervising technical team members.
- Ability to operate in a client-facing environment.
- Ability to commute to San Antonio or be located within commuting distance.
Preferred experience:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Knowledge of GovCloud.
- Familiarity with DoD cyber requirements or DoD environments.
- Experience deploying AI or automation solutions within enterprise data environments.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
