Oracle Golden Gate Administrator
The Work:
GoldenGate Architecture & Integration Architect will design, and validate Oracle GoldenGate solutions to support real-time data replication, integration, and high‑availability requirements. Identify risks, assumptions, and cross-system impacts associated with GoldenGate infrastructure and data flows. Work closely with integration teams, functional teams, and developers to design and implement end‑to‑end integration solutions using OGG. Identify and resolve application or data issues impacting replication performance, data integrity, or solution stability. Support development and testing teams by defining test scenarios, creating and validating test data, and ensuring compliance with data security requirements. Business Process & Requirements Analyze and design new or enhanced business processes to support GoldenGate solution adoption, modernization, and data movement needs. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define detailed requirements, user stories, and use cases. Participate in user and task analysis sessions to accurately represent and advocate for business needs. Validate technical and functional designs with stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements. Develop comprehensive documentation, including design artifacts, configuration specifications, process maps, and solution blueprints. Project Delivery & Cross-Functional Collaboration Ensure seamless transition of functional and technical designs to development, integration, testing, and deployment teams. Provide clear and complete documentation for developers, testers, deployment teams, and long-term support teams. Share functional and technical information with cross-functional teams (e.g., change enablement, security, integration, conversion). Provide regular status updates to project management and raise issues that may impact other workstreams. Participate in quality management reviews to ensure design integrity, compliance, and delivery readiness. Security & Federal Compliance Ensure all designs and processes comply with federal standards, security guidelines, and data protection requirements. Work with customers and security leads to identify access control, identity management, and data protection requirements. Follow strict handling requirements for sensitive data in secure federal environments.
Here’s What You Need:
3+ years hands-on oracle DBA experience
Experience troubleshooting and running production databases
Active Secret Clearance
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience running Oracle Golden Gate in production against multiple databases
Exp developing against Oracle Golden Gate
