The Proposal Coordinator is a key member of the Accenture Federal Services (AFS) Proposal Development Center (PDC), a centralized team that partners with account teams across the business to develop high‑quality, compelling federal proposals. This entry level position is ideal for someone who is curious, motivated, and excited to grow their career in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment. As a Proposal Coordinator, you will work alongside experienced Proposal Managers and cross functional teams to support the full lifecycle of federal proposals—from initial planning to final submission. You will help keep complex efforts organized, ensure teams have what they need to produce high quality content, and contribute to the smooth execution of critical milestones.This role gives you a front row seat to the business of federal consulting while building foundational skills in project coordination, communication, document management, and problem solving. Responsibilities
- Support daily proposal administration for small to large federal opportunities, including developing schedules, work plans, and tracking key milestones.
- Manage production workstreams throughout the proposal lifecycle, including graphics, formatting/desktop publishing, and printing.
- Review solicitations for formatting requirements and update proposal templates to ensure compliance.
- Serve as a tertiary point of contact when Proposal Managers are unavailable, documenting decisions and action items as needed.
- Assist with SharePoint access, permissions, and site organization to support proposal teams.
- Support color team reviews by scheduling meetings, preparing review materials, coordinating reviewers, collecting comments, and guiding authors through recovery activities.
- Provide basic formatting and desktop publishing support when required.
- Provide on site support as needed, including managing proposal room logistics and maintaining an organized working environment.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
