The work:

We are seeking a Business Analyst/Tester to support a team maintaining and enhancing an established, Pega-based enterprise application. In this role, you will gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into actionable user stories in JIRA, and test system functionality — through both manual and automated testing — to validate enhancements, identify defects, and ensure quality across ongoing releases. We are looking for someone detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly. Prior testing experience is not required but strongly preferred. 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements; identify functional requirements and create user stories for application enhancements and fixes
  • Create, manage, and track JIRA tickets throughout the project lifecycle
  • Test developed stories and ensure application QA through manual and automated testing 
  • Prepare for and participate in internal design sessions
  • Solve problems and provide technical support to application end users
  • Develop and maintain documentation
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support delivery using SAFe methodologies; assist the Scrum Master and team as needed 
  • Recommend process improvements throughout the project lifecycle

Here's what you need: 

  • At least 2 years professionally work experience as a Business Analyst with an active Top Secret clearance.
  • Must understand, gather and analyze client business requirements and translate them into actionable user stories in JIRA.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge with the functionality of Pega-based application and technology.
  • Ability to create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
  • Full lifecycle development using Agile.
  • Willingness to go 100% onsite in DC.

 

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
