Backed by premier private equity firms and headquartered in New York with 10 offices around the globe, we are a high-growth, entrepreneurial firm looking for people who want to be part of building something great. Come make your mark.

The Role

We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter who can own full-cycle hiring for Accordion’s CFO Technology, and Data, Analytics & AI practices. This is not a generalist recruiting seat. The right person has direct experience hiring AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and technical product managers in a competitive market. They know what a strong GitHub profile looks like, they can tell the difference between a candidate who uses AI tools daily and one who lists them as keywords, and they’re comfortable engaging deeply technical hiring managers as a true partner.

This role can be based in any of our US office locations and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week, blending the best of both worlds for efficiency and collaboration. Ideal candidates should be local to the desired locations.

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:

As part of our lean Talent Acquisition team, you will:

  • Partner with practice leadership and hiring managers to define requirements, calibrate on candidate quality, evolve interview processes, and provide market-informed recruiting strategy
  • Build and run sourcing strategies that go beyond LinkedIn: GitHub-based sourcing, technical communities, niche platforms, and referral networks
  • Evaluate and recommend new sourcing tools as the market evolves
  • Screen candidates for genuine AI-first technical depth, not just keyword matches
  • Track and manage pipeline in Greenhouse. Use data to inform sourcing strategy, identify bottlenecks, and report progress to stakeholders
  • Manage offer details, approvals, and comp negotiations in coordination with senior leadership
  • Provide market intelligence on AI/ML talent supply, comp trends, and competitive landscape to hiring managers and leadership
  • Integrate Accordion’s employee value proposition and brand strategy into all recruitment activity at all levels across all platforms

You Have:

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting experience with a meaningful portion spent hiring AI/ML engineers, data scientists, or adjacent technical roles
  • Demonstrated ability to source and close passive candidates in a competitive AI talent market
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub-based sourcing or other technical signal evaluation beyond LinkedIn profiles
  • Familiarity with modern AI/ML tooling and frameworks (enough to have informed conversations with candidates and hiring managers about their work)
  • Proficiency with Greenhouse or a comparable ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Strong judgment on candidate quality, including an eye for red flags and fabrication in technical resumes
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift and speed matters
  • Uses AI tools in your own recruiting workflow (we practice what we preach)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting in consulting, professional services, or PE-backed companies
  • Knowledgeable about the relationship between Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, particularly within the office of the CFO
  • Familiarity with the CFO Technology ecosystem: ERP (NetSuite), CRM (Salesforce) and CPM/EPM (Anaplan, Adaptive, OneStream, BlackLine, FloQast, Pigment, Oracle Cloud EPM)
  • Agency recruiting background (you know how to hunt, not just post and pray)
  • Experience building or scaling a recruiting function, not just inheriting one

Who You Are:

  • Technically fluent enough to evaluate signal. You don’t need to code, but you recognize meaningful open-source contributions and can spot inflated experience
  • A natural sourcer—you proactively find top candidates rather than waiting for applicants
  • Direct and low-ego. You give honest assessments, even when it means pushing back on hiring managers
  • Data-driven. You track pipeline metrics, understand conversion rates, and adjust your approach accordingly
  • Highly organized under pressure, able to manage 8–10+ open roles simultaneously
  • A strong writer. Your outreach is specific, concise, and never feels templated
  • Entrepreneurial and comfortable operating in a fluid, flat organization
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively across all levels

Salary: $100,000 to $150,000 + benefits + bonus

Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
