Data & Analytics

Role Overview:

The Senior Director – Branding & Marketing will be a key leadership partner within Accordion India’s marketing organization, responsible for translating strategic direction into consistently high-quality execution across all branding and marketing verticals.

This role will lead the day-to-day operations, people leadership, and delivery rigor of the function, spanning communications, design, events, employer branding, internal communications, and PR. Working closely with the Head of Branding & Marketing, the Senior Director will ensure that the function operates with clarity, discipline, creativity, and measurable impact—while continuously raising standards across teams and outcomes.

This is a role for a leader who values strong processes as much as meaningful creativity and ideas, combines analytical thinking with creative judgment, and builds teams that deliver with ownership, pace, and pride.

What will you do:

Leadership & Operating Excellence

  • Provide leadership oversight for the Branding & Marketing function, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and execution across all workstreams.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and team members across communications, design, events, PR, and employer branding.
  • Establish a culture of process-led execution, accountability, and high performance, with clearly defined workflows, review mechanisms, and quality benchmarks.
  • Partner closely with the Head of Branding & Marketing to operationalize strategy and enable focus on enterprise-level priorities.

Process, Analytics & Decision-Making

  • Hold teams accountable to current processes; (if required) improve, design, and institutionalize marketing processes that ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across campaigns and initiatives.
  • Bring an analytical mindset to marketing operations—tracking performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, engagement data, and insights to inform decisions.
  • Review and interpret marketing insights, event outcomes, communication effectiveness, and brand metrics to continuously refine approach and execution.
  • Balance data-driven decision-making with sound creative judgment to deliver work that is both effective and distinctive.

Brand, Communications & Internal Engagement

  • Lead internal communications and employer branding initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, culture, and pride in the Accordion brand.
  • Ensure all messaging and storytelling are aligned to Accordion’s brand voice, values, and positioning.
  • Oversee leadership communications, firm-wide initiatives, award programs, and change communications with clarity and sensitivity.

Event Strategy & Experience Leadership

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale, high-impact internal events, including annual celebrations, leadership offsites, and recognition programs.
  • Manage vendors, agencies, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies to deliver seamless experiences.
  • Continuously elevate the creative and experiential quality of events, ensuring they are meaningful, well-produced, and aligned to organizational goals.

Creative, Design & Content Direction

  • Provide creative direction across visual design, video, content, and experiential branding.
  • Ensure all creative outputs meet high standards of quality, relevance, and brand alignment.
  • Encourage innovation while maintaining disciplined execution and clarity of purpose.

PR, Employer Branding & External Visibility

  • Guide PR and thought leadership initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strengthen Accordion India’s employer brand through campuses, social platforms, leadership visibility, and storytelling.
  • Ensure external-facing narratives are consistent, credible, and reflective of Accordion’s value-creation mindset.

Stakeholder & Global Collaboration

  • Work closely with global marketing counterparts, particularly US-based teams, to ensure alignment while adapting execution for local needs.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across business, technology, and people functions.
  • Represent the marketing function with confidence, maturity, and credibility in leadership forums.

Ideally, you have:

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience across branding, marketing, communications, or integrated marketing roles.
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex initiatives.
  • Strong background in event marketing, internal communications, and employer branding.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams.
