Calibration Technician (Utah Scales Center)
We are seeking a Calibration Technician to join our team at Utah Scale Center, an Accredited Labs Company.

Location: On-site at various customer sites throughout the Sandy, UT/Salt Lake Valley area and some over nearby states
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025
- Inspecting, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing mechanical and electronic weighing equipment
- Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
- Working directly with clients throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates to services needed
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
- Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations throughout the Salt Lake Valley (Ogden to Provo) including a few overnight projects throughout the year
- Able to lift 50 lbs routinely
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
- Able and willing to obtain CDL class B (company-paid)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Enjoy the convenience of taking home a fleet vehicle for work use - This role requires technicians to store a company vehicle at their residence safely
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
- Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems
- Associate's degree in engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
- Technical Degree or Certificate
- Military PMEL Training
- Metrology experience
- Experience with IndySoft
