Branch Quality Manager
We are seeking a Branch Quality Manager to lead the quality function at our Dallas, TX location. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Quality Management System (QMS), driving continuous improvement, and supporting technical excellence across our calibration disciplines.
This is a high-impact role requiring close collaboration with branch managers, technicians, and quality leadership across the Accredited Labs network.
Location: 90% in Dallas with 10% travel to customer sites within TX, AR, UT.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure full compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and internal policies.
- Own and maintain local implementation of the Quality Manual and procedures.
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external assessments and accreditations.
- Review personnel competence, calibration results, and quality documentation.
- Manage CAPAs, nonconformance investigations, and customer complaints.
- Provide annual QMS effectiveness assessments and facilitate quality training.
Technical & Process Oversight
- Review all calibration certificates and measurement uncertainty budgets for accuracy.
- Lead technical competence evaluations across calibration disciplines.
- Oversee proficiency testing, training documentation, and risk assessments.
- Lead or support root cause analysis for quality issues, non-conformances, and process deviations to drive effective corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Support customer experience initiatives involving quality feedback.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/certification.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management within calibration, testing, or a regulated environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards.
- Proficient in uncertainty calculations and document control.
- Experience conducting internal and external audits.
Preferred:
- Experience leading branch-level or multi-site quality initiatives.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and quality system software.
- Familiarity with IndySoft Calibration Software
