The Data Analyst is a key contributor in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, extracting and analyzing data from various sources, and translating findings into comprehensive reports and visualizations. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of data analytics, proficiency in system and data warehouse integrations, and exceptional communication skills. 

The ideal candidate is a proven Data Analyst with a track record of building data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems from the ground up. They bring hands-on expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes, with the ability to work across multiple systems and platforms. They should be both detail-oriented and strategic—capable of validating data integrity, scaling analytics in alignment with organizational goals, and developing repeatable workflows that strengthen decision-making. 

The Accredited Labs network is rapidly evolving and requires a Data Analyst who can adapt quickly to new challenges. With operations spanning more than 30 locations nationwide, and significant reliance on decentralized data inputs, this role is critical in unifying and standardizing information for accuracy and visibility.  

Location: Hybrid/Remote in Dallas, TX/surrounding area

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis 

  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from Accredited Lab’s systems using BigQuery to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that directly support operational excellence. 
  • Apply advanced statistical methods and data mining techniques to interpret results and generate meaningful business recommendations for leadership and branch teams. 

Reporting and Visualization 

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau, ensuring scalability and usability across Accredited Labs’ nationwide operations. 
  • Present findings in a clear, concise, and visually compelling format tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences, enabling data-driven decision-making at every level of the organization. 

Requirements Gathering 

  • Partner with business stakeholders, branch managers, and leadership to define reporting requirements, data needs, and key performance indicators (KPIs). 
  • Translate business questions into structured analytical projects and deliver comprehensive requirements documentation that drives alignment across teams. 

Data Extraction and Modeling 

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of BigQuery-based data models that power Accredited Labs’ reporting and analytics ecosystem. 
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data throughout the reporting lifecycle, from extraction to visualization. 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging BI technologies, and best practices in analytics to foster innovation within Accredited Labs’ data strategy. 
  • Proactively recommend and implement enhancements to existing reporting processes, with a focus on improving efficiency, accuracy, and overall business impact. 

Required Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role. 
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. 
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. 
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python or R. 
  • Familiarity with database systems
