About the role

The Enterprise Client Strategist is dedicated to enhancing product adoption and retention efforts with our merchant partners. We are seeking a candidate with a strong consulting background who can leverage analytical skills and strategic thinking to optimize performance, deepen partnerships, and ensure the retention of merchants across our portfolio. This role will involve managing our enterprise merchant accounts while driving cross-functional initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Onboard, support, and cultivate robust relationships with Accrue's enterprise merchant partners, ensuring they recognize and realize value from our business model using consultative approaches
  • Execute data-driven strategies to enhance performance across diverse merchant portfolios by leveraging insights from your consulting experience in product usage, marketing initiatives, best practices, and adoption rates
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to identify growth opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and report on performance metrics with a strategic lens
  • Establish a framework for retaining and engaging merchants effectively, drawing on your experience in change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Conduct in-depth analyses and provide actionable recommendations on growth activities and opportunities for merchants, utilizing your consulting expertise to drive impactful results
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant partners, providing insights and reporting on performance needs with a consultative approach
  • Develop project-level KPIs and reporting processes to ensure ongoing optimization, applying frameworks learned in the consulting field

What we'd love to see

  • You have a consulting background from a Big Three firm
  • You have proven experience managing relationships with Fortune 500 companies, demonstrating a consulting-oriented mindset
  • You may have worked in an Account Management or Client Strategy role in the past
  • Thrives in ambiguity; self-starters who consistently reevaluate responsibilities and reprioritize based on strategic assessments of company needs
  • Highly resourceful; if you don’t know the answer, you will creatively find solutions, leveraging your consulting experience to deliver results.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; you’ve established systems to clearly understand project status, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks
  • Clear communication skills; able to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive results
  • Adaptable and eager to grow; you thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous environment with constant change and a rapidly growing team
  • A proactive mindset focused on driving improvements and leveraging consulting methodologies
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Salesforce, Figma, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides

Salary

The estimated pay range for this role, based in New York City, is $100,000- 125,000.

The range listed is just some of the components of Accrue's total compensation package; This role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. The salary range is for US-based employees located in the listed market. Other benefits include those listed above such as healthcare and 401k.
